One Simple Tool To Help Schedule Your Year

Money & CalendarEvery month, my wife and I do a budget, and every now and then, we find a budget buster in the middle of the month.

Do you have those too? Some event you forgot about, a gift you need to buy (guys we can’t forget those anniversaries!), or even something as simple and repetitive as a kids sport starting up. Anything that you should remember but just happen to forget and it ruins your budget when it comes to your attention.

Now, I know you can’t always remember these, but I have found a simple little tool that might be able to assist you in preparing for them. Not only will this help you prepare for your budget, it will allow you to better prepare for vacations, meetings, training, birthdays, etc.

I really wish I could claim creating this document, but it was originally created by someone I highly admire and recommend reading, Michael Hyatt. Michael wrote the post, “Creating an Annual Time Block“, back in 2009, and the idea is still useful today.

The document can be downloaded here, but I recommend reading the blog post that goes a long with it so you can understand Michael’s full intent.

I have found it useful with my budgeting, as I mentioned above, and I think you will as well.

I’d love to hear how you are scheduling your time. Do you have any other templates you would recommend using? Leave a comment below and let us know about them! Thank you and God Bless!
